I'm Sick
:pointr: SO. It's my birthday today. :dummy: I'm 23! (I'm finally 23 on the 23rd of December! I've always waited for this day to come!!) Ahh, I remember when I was 19. That was so long ago. That was *subtracts with fingers* 4 years ago. Haha.
:pointr: And so yeah. Now I'm old. IMSOOLD. I remember being like IMOLD when I turned 22? That wasa whoppin' 365 days ago. Do you know how much time that is? That is like 365x24x60x60 = 31536000 seconds. That's a lot of zeros. So.

:pointr: Onto the I'm Sick part. My face right now is like BRIGHT PINK. So it's like a 29.5 C here and I'm bundled up like you would be in a snow storm. (For those who use Fahrenheit, that's about 85 F.) So. This is what I'm wearing. I have a white undershirt tanktop, a black muscle shirt overtop of that, a long sleeve black shirt over that, and then I have this huge thick jacket. And in case I'm still cold, I have a beanie. A nice black beanie. Just to make sure I stay warm in this weather. This summer weather.
:pointr: So, my sickness could be due to any of ten bajillion reasons. It might because I've been getting about 10 hours of sleep a week for the past month or so (which means in the past month, I've gotten about 40 hours of sleep--which is about how much the average person gets in a week or less). It MIGHT be. Who knows. Or it might be because of the weird weather here. It's like COLD hold COOOLLLLD SUPER HOT really cold HOT coolllddd. Or maybe not. But I don't think it's any of that. I think it's because.
:pointr: I can't stop eating cake batter.
:pointr: No, seriously. I think that's it. Raw eggs in the cake batter. xD Because I'm like throwing my insides up. On my very happy birthday. I'm like YESS. I get to throw up on my birthday! What better gift!! No. But yeah. So. I don't think I'm going to learn my lesson and I think I'm still going to eat cake batter. Q_Q WHY DON'T I LEARN?! The better question is, however, why does cake batter taste so good?! GAHHHH!

:pointr: GUESS WHAT I'M EATING! I find, if I eat just about anything, I need to throw up. But. I found something. I'm eating pinapples. c:

:pointr: So I updated it, but I didn't update the prices. The prices, like always are negotiable. But really. They start at 3 USD, and you can get quite a lot for just 5 USD. (: I really hope to get some commissions. :cry: Unfortunately, it's the only thing that can get me to draw on schedule.

:pointr: I decided to keep the featured pics the same because I only had them up for like. A day.


:pointr: Although this is only a pencil sketch, it is by far one of my favourite pictures in her gallery. Her unique style is clearly evident here, especially with the Disney-esque facial structure, and her own style of eyes, lips, and (my favourite) nose!! Honestly? I look to Kal-El to improve my own art. (Of course, she doesn't know that. :cough:) If you don't believe me, try comparing some of the features on my newer pieces to hers! Hopefully, it'll be hard to pinpoint exactly where I *ahem* copied her style, but it should no doubt be clear that she inspired me!


:pointr: Since I'm playing favourites at the moment, I'll promote my sister! ~An-san only took up digital art a while ago, and I think she's still learning her way around photoshop! That isn't to say she is completely incapable!! I've been working with her in photoshop for a while, but since this picture, I haven't been doing much of anything but watching her draw. I know for a fact that she will happily accept advice, and I'd love it if you stopped by her gallery and looked at/read over some of her stuff.
:pointr: And please don't be too lazy to read--a lot of her writings are amusing, sometimes silly, and sweet. (: It's definitely worth it. Go send her a message or two. (: She definitely deserves it!!

:pointr: So I've been wanting to do a meme (or rather just art in general) for a while. And what better way than to festively draw for my watchers!!
:pointr: It's taking wayyy longer than I anticipated. And all of the pictures are super boring. ): But still. If you're on the receiving end, it should all be good. Giving end is a bit exhausting and sleep depriving though. Ah well. I'm spending an hour on each pic, and the pics aren't even that good. =_= I'm gonna dieee.
:pointr: So yeah, really. Look out for your character! c:! And sorry in advance if I ruin any of your characters designs.

POSES!!
:pointr: I'm in desperate need for poses and stuff. ALL I've been drawing are these shoulder-bust shots! D: Human and dog alike! And with dogs, it's even worse because I can only draw sideview! It's the lame "I'm a beginner dog artist so I can only draw side view" syndrome! SOME ONE PLEASE HELP!

:pointr: For some reason, *Bray-Productions, who is one of the most financially unfortunate people I know, bought be a three month sub. I mean WTF. Stop spending money on other people! No, but in all honesty, thank you! She's a really great person and I think you should all check out her gallery!
:pointr: A couple words on her: she's got a very unique style. It's a mix of her several different cartoon styles, realism, western comic, and her own twist. Really, I think it's something to behold. So you should definitely check her out. ;D Not many people have such an original style.

Would anyone be my colourist?

Colourist
:pointr: So I got into a conversation with my collab partner and I was like D: I need a colourist too. I mean, I love colouring and everything, but I was wondering, if I drew a pic, would anyone line/clean/colour is for me? I have SO many pics and I'd be so impossibly happy if someone would like to collab with me, cleaning up my junk and colouring it.
:pointr: I mean because I spend 15 minutes drawing a pic, and liking it, and then it takes me 15 hours to colour it. (And that's not, of course, including the 3 months it takes for me to upload it.) I have SO MANY, SO MANY pics for you to choose from, it's pretty much like a pile of trash (except hopefully you don't think of me that way!!).
:pointr: At any rate, if anyone AT ALL is interested, PLEASE leave a comment (easiest) or send me a note (a notch harder) or email me (you'd have to get out of your way now ;D ) saying so. If I get enough feedback (or any at all!!) I'd like to scan in a pic or two for you guys to colour/line/play around with.
:pointr: The only things: you would have to link to my original lineart and I would have to be able to reserve the right to upload your piece (of course I won't nab credit for your beautiful colours). Not that it's likely that I'll upload it (because it simply takes WAY too much effort), but I need to reserve that right.

The Stuff I Do and Don't Do

:pointr: Yeah, so I'm supposed to be uploading pictures. But am I? NO. And when I do, what is it? It's just junk I've been doodling for forever. =/ Just junk pencil drawings. Because that's what's EASY TO DO. And plus, it's such a pain scanning when I have to find the scanner, make sure it's got all its components, attach it, and then scan. And then I have to colour and everything. Because if I don't, you guys won't like the pic. :boo: (Except for the nice people who like my pictures no matter what.) :thanks: You guys make my day. My life. xD
:pointr: So, like always, I'm not slacking in my drawing. I'm drawing. A lot. I'm just not uploading. I have this nice stack/pile or pictures I want to show you guys, but I know none of you really care/are interested at all. =/ That's why like 120 per cent of my gallery is in my scraps. =/ SCRAPS. Because it's all SCRAPS.
:pointr: And when I'm not uploading pictures, I'm simultaneously not doing my school work. I still have school work. I'm not doing my school work. I haven't done my school work.
:pointr: And I'm not sleeping. That's evident. I haven't slept more than 4 hours in one night in over a week. HOW AM I SURVIVING. I don't know. Modo weight :below: while Chum weight :above:. We are negatively correlated. c: That's great.

Fasts, Extended Vigils, and Scourges!

:pointr: Self explanatory. I haven't slept regularly in over a month. Caffeine is great, but you know what's even better when you want to kill yourself? NO CAFFEINE. And NO SLEEP. And NO CAFFEINE. Great stuff. Kills you almost instantly save for the many weeks of feeling like a zombie insomnia. Which you are.
:pointr: Um, I won't get into details about the other two though. That's just stuff you don't need to know about.

:pointr: So the art I'm doing right now is mostly
:bulletblack: Book related. (Right now, The Scarlet Letter)
:bulletwhite: Human. (I've lost all ability to draw dogs.)

My Style

:pointr: So I've been desperately trying to steer away from anime for the past, what, 5 years? But it's so freaking easy to draw. So in attempt to not draw anime style, I draw these pathetic, weird looking cartoons that look like they popped right out of cartoon network. Yeah, like the huge circular eyes and the tiny necks and stuff. Kooky looking things.
:pointr: And that's the fruit of my trying to not draw anime.
:pointr: But I think my style is still counted as anime. Dammit. Like when people see me drawing, they're like /instantly wonders if I watch gratuitous amounts of anime like they do. And I'm like NOPLZ. NO I DONT. But they're like OH LOL CAN U DRAW /anime character/ PLZ? And I'm like NOPLZ. I DUNNO WHAT UR TALKING ABOUT. And they're like /sadface/. So yeah.

The Art I Have Been Doing
